Bob, EXCELLENT job on Coren's show last night. Absolutely excellent. And under pressure too, you're the poor guy that had to sit between Shaidle and Cherniak. Did she try to get him during the breaks? ~:D
You said something extremely interesting last night about the blasphemy laws, that the CHRC witch hunts were are having are nothing new, just that they have a new target. I think you've cut to the very core of the matter with that. Many Canadians want their government to police the opinion sphere and punish those who offend against propriety. Cherniak came right out and said that re the hate speech laws. It was as revealing a discussion as I've ever seen, regarding the fundamental difference between "liberal" and "conservative" thought. (I put those in quotes to designate them as overly broad and sloppy categories, shorthand if you will.)
Anyway, way to go man!
