My former classmate, and current Osgoode Hall professor, Giuseppina D'Agostino, wrote a wonderfully comprehensive piece on "fair dealing" in Canada in the post-CCH environment which is now being hosted by Canadian Heritage - of particular interest is that it contains comparative analyses of the concept in the UK and of "fair use" in the US.
